About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Emergency Operations Centre team as an Ambulance Dispatcher. As a Dispatcher, you will play a critical role in the effective deployment and management of Trust vehicles to emergency and non-emergency calls across the Trust area.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deploy and manage Trust vehicles in response to emergency and non-emergency calls
  • Work closely with the 999 control room team to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Use your problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues and make decisions in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • 4 GCSEs at C grade or above, including English (or equivalent)
  • Good keyboard skills and ability to work accurately and efficiently
  • Good oral communication skills and ability to work effectively with others
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
