Job Overview

We're seeking a highly motivated Water Network Maintenance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining our water network, ensuring that our customers receive a high-quality service. As a specialist, you will be the face of our company and work closely with customers to resolve any issues they may have.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve customer queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with contractors to carry out planned and unplanned work, including investigating clean water networks to resolve poor performance.
  • Help control burst mains, ensuring isolation to facilitate planned work, emergency repairs, and maintenance.
  • Liaise with valve operations teams to plan and execute valve checks and sampling.
  • Work well within a team covering core and standby hours through all hours of the day (on standby rota).
  • Drive daily between jobs using your own vehicle and hold a full UK driving license.

Requirements

  • Able to work at heights, in confined spaces and drive long distances.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of domestic plumbing or water mains and leakage is advantageous but not essential as full training is provided.
  • Previous customer service experience within a constantly changing environment is essential.
  • Hold a valid full UK driving license.
