Office and Facilities Management Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office and Facilities Manager to join our team at Specialist Motor Finance Limited. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Chester Business Park.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our office and facilities, ensuring a smooth and efficient working environment for our staff. This includes ordering supplies, maintaining facilities budget, and liaising with external contractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Office Management: Responsible for ordering stationery, business cards, marketing materials, postal supplies, kitchen supplies, and reviewing prices to ensure competitive rates.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Liaise with facility management companies, cleaning services, reactive works, pest control, and soft service maintenance to ensure all facilities-related tasks are completed promptly.
  • Health and Safety: Arrange internal training for employees on fire marshals, first aiders, PAT testing, fire extinguishers, air conditioning, water cooler, and boiler servicing.
  • HR Administration: Provide support to the HR Advisor during complex employee relation cases, including notetaking and producing detailed reports.
Requirements:
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and maintain accurate records.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Effective communication with colleagues, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and problem-solving.
  • Up-to-Date Employment Law Awareness: Knowledge of employment law and regulations, including company processes and procedures.
  • Understanding of Company Processes and Procedures: Familiarity with company policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Salary:

£23,400 - £26,000 per annum, depending on experience.
