About The Job

MTrec Technical is seeking a skilled Process Development Engineer to join their team at a prestigious precision engineering/manufacturing client in Ashington.

The Role
  1. To develop and implement process methodology and process equipment for the manufacture of bespoke technology.
  2. Design, construct, commission, and test novel process equipment and test equipment.
  3. Engage with internal stakeholders and external organisations to ensure the successful development and qualification of new processes and products.
  4. Project manage development activities and support commercial projects to exploit new capabilities.
  5. Liaise with manufacturing engineers and technicians to manufacture and test prototypes for customer applications and research projects.
About You
  • A background in R&D / Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering with 3 years of experience.
  • Proven process knowledge and experience in automated welding, fluid/gas control and dispensing, electrical control systems, data acquisition and evaluation.
  • BEng/MEng qualified or HNC with a high level of experience.
  • Excellent analytical skills, time management skills, and communication skills.
