Process Development Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Process Development Engineer to join our team at MTrec Technical. As a Process Development Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the development of process methodology and process equipment required to manufacture bespoke technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop engineering designs, construct, commission, and test novel process equipment and test equipment.
- Engage with internal stakeholders and external organisations to ensure the successful development and qualification of new processes and products.
- Project manage development activities, including commercial projects to exploit new capability and ensure alignment with commercial requirements.
- Support R&D commercial projects and collaborative R&D projects.
- Liaise with manufacturing engineers and technicians to manufacture and test prototypes for customer applications and research projects.
Requirements:
- Process knowledge and experience in automated welding, fluid/gas control and dispensing, electrical control systems, data acquisition and evaluation.
- R&D/Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering background with 3 years of experience.
- Experience of 3D Modelling/2D Drawings.
- BEng/MEng qualified or HNC with a high level of experience.
- Experience in development of new process equipment and procedures.
- Experience in verification and qualification testing to ISO standards (or equivalent).
- Analytical skills and test report writing ability.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Confident individual capable of working from own initiative.
- Work effectively as part of a team and possess good communication skills.
