About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a permanent CNC Machine Operator to join their growing team. As a skilled operator, you will be responsible for setting and operating Mazak CNC machine centres, programming and using Mazatrol and ISO languages, and maintaining quality of components to high tolerances throughout the machining process.
Job Description:
- Set and operate Mazak CNC machine centres
- Program and use Mazatrol and ISO languages
- Develop machining procedures, including supporting documentation
- FOLLOW proven manufacturing processes via Work Instructions & Tooling Sheets
- Maintain quality of components to high tolerances throughout machining process
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to hold an ONC Mechanical Engineering qualification (or equivalent EITB or C&G) and have experience using dedicated inspection equipment, SPC procedures, and method sheets. Additionally, you must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Benefits:
This role offers a competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, plus benefits including generous shift allowance, ongoing training and development, and pension scheme. The company also offers free on-site parking and a double day's shift pattern, 06:00-14:00, and 14:00-22:30, Monday to Thursday, and 06:00-13:00, 13:00-18:00, Fridays.
