**MAIN DUTIES:

- Provide 1:1 close supervision for the child, checking the health monitoring machines provided to monitor his heart and oxygen levels. Full training will be provided.
- Support the child to receive all fluids, nutrition and medication via a PEG. Full training will be provided.
- Changing Button, full training will be provided.
- Support the child with Emergency Epilepsy Medication when required, following training by Specialist Nurse.
- To play, engage and care for this little boy as age appropriate.

Hours:
16 hours per week. Daytime hours and 1 overnight.
Rate of pay:
£11.91 per hour. Holiday entitlement is 5.6 weeks per year pro-rata.
Any out-of-pocket expenses will be met by the employer.

The successful applicant must:

- Have experience and a positive understanding about children who have disabilities
- Have a genuine interest in working with children with complex needs
- Have a high degree of initiative
- Be punctual and reliable as the child cannot be left unsupervised.
- Be flexible
- Have a happy, positive and caring nature
- Respect confidentiality

Full, clean driving license required but car owner not essential, as you will have access to the family vehicle.
