Job Description:

We are looking for a Health and Wellness Director to drive safety and collaboration in our thriving food manufacturing environment. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping our safety culture and inspiring employees to prioritize health and wellness.

You will report to the Head of Health and Safety and work closely with our operations team to implement innovative solutions, engage with staff on the shop floor, and drive meaningful change. Key duties of the Health and Wellness Director include:

  • Being a visible presence on the shop floor, connecting with staff, building trust, and encouraging a proactive approach to safety.
  • Inspiring and empowering teams to embrace safety as a shared responsibility, shifting mindsets and embedding best practices.
  • Conducting thorough risk assessments, leading daily briefings, and collaborating with staff to review site performance.
  • Helping to install a positive safety culture throughout our growing site.
  • Creating an environment where safety is a priority, not a box-ticking exercise.

Requirements:
  • Hold a NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
  • Have at least three years in a manufacturing environment, with bonus points for food production experience.
Salary and Benefits:

Estimated salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
