Cook Job Description

We are seeking a Cook to join our team in the Regeneration and Community Services Directorate of Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for Georgetown Primary School.

The successful candidate will have experience working within a catering field and possess practical catering skills. Additionally, they must hold a City & Guilds 706/1, 706/2 or NVQ Level 1/2 in Catering and a Food Safety Level 3 Certificate.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They must also be able to maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety.

Salary Information:

We offer a competitive salary for this role, estimated at around £22,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
