Job Title: Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Specialist to join our Lucy Adams Team. As a Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering Housing Related Support to residents, ensuring their needs are met and they have the opportunity to maximize their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred support to residents, working closely with them to develop and implement individualized support plans.
  • Collaborate with external agencies to ensure residents receive comprehensive support and services.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential risks.
  • Assist residents in accessing services and resources to achieve their goals.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, colleagues, and external partners.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with vulnerable populations, particularly those with mental health or substance abuse issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with residents.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality support services.
  • Computer literacy and ability to learn new IT systems.
  • Current driving license and access to a vehicle.

Benefits:

  • An annual salary of £25,028.95, plus a car allowance of £1,545 per annum.
  • Flexible working arrangements, including full hybrid working conditions from home and our office in Bury St Edmunds.
  • Annual leave - 28 days per year, increasing to 32 days when you reach your 3rd year with us.
  • Pension - between 7% - 12% dependent on individual contribution.
  • Life assurance - a payment of X3 your salary.
