Bury St, Suffolk, United Kingdom Havebury Housing Partnership Full time

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Support and Housing Provision Specialist to join our Lucy Adams Team. Your role will be to deliver Housing Related Support to residents within our services by ensuring completion of person-centred risk assessments and support plans. You will be required to refer to and work alongside partner support agencies to effectively cater for all support needs presented by residents, with the aim to support and enable residents to maximise their potential and move on successfully to independent living accommodation.

We are a customer-centric organisation, owning and managing approximately 7,500 homes in the east of England. We work closely with other agencies and stakeholders within our communities, investing in our existing homes, including our zero-carbon journey, as well as building new homes.

As a Support and Housing Provision Specialist, you will be required to promote, support and ensure fair access and inclusion for each resident at every point throughout the service, and to ensure each resident has the opportunity to maximise their potential and achieve positive outcomes. You will also contribute to team processes of new referrals and completing risk assessments with potential applicants for discussion as a team.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to work under pressure and keep calm in potentially stressful situations, with a current driving licence and access to their own vehicle. They will also have experience in relating effectively with individuals in an empathetic way, as well as experience of working with individuals with mental health, drug or alcohol related issues.

In return, we are offering a competitive annual salary, flexible working around a 37 hour week, annual leave of 28 days per year (increasing to 32 days when you reach your third year with us), pension, life assurance, annual flu jab, electric vehicle salary sacrifice scheme and competitive medical cashback plan.

Please note that due to the nature of some of our roles involving work with vulnerable members of society, this post may be subject to a Basic Criminal Disclosure, which will be carried out when a conditional offer is made.
