Key Responsibilities

  • Handle a designated caseload of claims from cradle to grave, liaising extensively with clients, insurers, claimants, policyholders, brokers, and other experts.
  • Refer claims that fall outside of your authority levels to your line manager.
  • Gather and process information to support the effective assessment of complex cases.
  • Assist in the training of new or inexperienced staff in the use of company systems and processes.
  • Maintain and develop personal knowledge and skills through continued professional development and ongoing desk training.
  • Conduct business in a courteous and efficient manner, adhering to all group procedures and policies.
  • Undertake any other tasks as reasonably required by the company.

Requirements

  • Experience of dealing with a varied portfolio of motor, liability, and property-related claims.
  • Excellent customer care experience.
  • General Insurance principles and practice.
  • A strong work ethic and time management skills to efficiently handle a large caseload.
  • Class of risk, product, and market knowledge.
  • General Insurance regulation and business ethics.
  • IT proficiency.
  • Numeracy and Literacy.
