About the Role:

We are seeking a resilient and resourceful individual to join our team as a Homeless Recovery Worker Assistant at Two Saints. As a key member of our Wokingham Young People Services team, you will play a vital role in supporting young people aged 16-21 who are care leavers and looked after children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting young people to gain life skills and independence
  • Providing 24/7 support to up to seven young people at a time
  • Closely monitoring caseloads and adapting to priorities
  • Listening to each person and being their voice when needed
  • Working collaboratively with the team to provide a supportive environment

Requirements:

  • Positive and flexible attitude with a passion for helping others
  • Ability to remain calm in potentially difficult situations and find resolutions
  • Knowledge of the benefits system and tenancy legislation
  • Empathic approach and a passion to help
