About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our shift working team at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the dispensary workload, providing a service for hospital inpatients and discharge prescriptions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work and support the dispensary workload in hours and out of hours
  • Provide a service for hospital inpatients and discharge prescriptions
  • Develop and maintain aseptic manufacturing skills
  • Work collaboratively with the Pharmacy team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
Requirements
  • NVQ level 3, registered pharmacy technician, evidence of CPD
  • Demonstrable post-qualification experience
  • Current knowledge of aseptic manufacture
  • Experience of working in a hospital pharmacy
