We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our Primary Care team at HMP Foston Hall, a female prison located in Derby. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

About the Role

This is a Bank position, which means you will work on a flexible schedule, including Monday to Thursday and Friday to Sunday. You will receive a competitive hourly rate and have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional patient care, including the administration of medicines and maintaining accurate medical records.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and services.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of pharmacy services and policies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NVQ Level 3 or above, or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Up-to-date Continual Professional Development (CPD).
  • Relevant post-qualification pharmacy experience.
  • General GCSE education or equivalent.
