Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to oversee our finance function and support the growth of our organisation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in managing financial processes and providing strategic financial guidance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support the finance function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.
- Develop and implement financial processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage and maintain financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and the board of directors.
- Provide financial guidance and support to other departments, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in accounting or a related field.
- Professional certification in accounting, such as CIMA, ACA, or ACCA.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a care organisation.
- Strong knowledge of financial software, including Xero and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
