About the Role

As a Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health needs and other challenges within our Carers Support Service. You will work closely with clients and their families, providing personalized support plans tailored to their unique circumstances.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement recovery-focused support plans for individuals, empowering them to achieve their goals and enhance their well-being.
  • Provide emotional support and practical assistance to carers of adults with mental health difficulties, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and elderly care needs.
  • Facilitate access to resources and services within the local community, connecting individuals with appropriate support networks.
  • Conduct initial assessments to identify individual needs and develop tailored interventions.
  • Collaborate with other professionals involved in the client's care, ensuring a coordinated and holistic approach.

Skills and Qualifications

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals with a strong commitment to supporting vulnerable populations. A background in social work, counseling, or a related field is preferred, but not essential. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are crucial for success in this role.
