About the Role

CV-Library seeks a skilled Communication Officer Assistant to join our team.

Job Duties
  1. Work closely with the community and employee engagement teams to develop public awareness campaigns, internal communications, and employee engagement initiatives.
  2. Support the media relations team in responding to press enquiries and creating engaging content for social media channels and the company website.
  3. Collaborate with the digital team to develop social media channels and create engaging content for the company website and force intranet.
  4. Organise and execute events, including press conferences, staff engagement events, and public events.
  5. Action or disseminate communications requests from central inboxes or phone lines to ensure timely and appropriate responses.
  6. Support the daily tasking process by recording actions, chasing updates, and completing individual tasks to facilitate incident responses.
  7. Assist the research and evaluation officer in their role, including assisting with primary research commissions.
  8. Provide critical communications support during major incidents.
Requirements
  1. Educated to A Level or above, including English, with some experience in communications, public relations, or journalism.
  2. Excellent writing skills for various mediums.
  3. Proven IT skills, particularly in MS Office.
  4. Good interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with people at all organisational levels.
  5. Strong team player with the ability to work under pressure.
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is £28,500 per annum, offering a competitive compensation package.
