About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Operations Assistant to join our team at INSHUR. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payment and reconciliation.
  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers and journals.
  • Assist with the preparation and review of financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate and up-to-date financial information.
  • Reconcile and process employee expenses, including travel and entertainment expenses.
  • Manage and maintain company credit cards, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals and prepayments.
  • Perform other financial tasks and projects as assigned by the UK Financial Controller.

Requirements

  • Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including bill processing and reconciliation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain high-quality financial records.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience with financial software, including Expensify, Stampli, Sage Intacct, Pleo, and Cledara, is an asset.
