Huntress is seeking a highly organised and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our finance team in Maidstone. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring compliance with UK legislation and regulations.

Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a range of payroll duties, including:

  • Managing payroll data, including employee records and payment information
  • Preparing and submitting payroll returns to HMRC
  • Processing payroll queries and discrepancies
  • Ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries and wages

You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, processing new starters and leavers, and ensuring compliance with tax, NI, and pension contributions.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 1-2 years experience working in a busy payroll function
  • Grade C and above at GCSE English & Maths
  • In-depth understanding of UK payroll legislation and compliance
  • Ability to work on own initiative, within a team, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisation skills, with ability to multi-task

The salary for this position is estimated to be £30,000 per annum.
