Primary School Attendance Officer

We are currently seeking an experienced administrator to join our team at a primary school in Middleton. As a vital member of the school office, you will be responsible for carrying out various administrative duties, including attending to visitors, handling phone calls, and maintaining email accounts.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a school office, preferably with SIMS experience. You will also possess strong administration skills, with the ability to manage day-to-day tasks and liaise effectively with the senior leadership team, teachers, pupils, and parents.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in an educational environment on a full-time basis, covering maternity leave for 12 months. The contracted hours of work are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-16:00pm. If you have an enhanced DBS on the update service or are willing to obtain a new DBS, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet and greet all visitors to the school.
- Answer and direct all incoming phone calls.
- Maintain the general email accounts, responding to queries/directing enquiries as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience of working in a school office ideally with SIMS experience.
- Ability to liaise and work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, Teachers, Pupils, and Parents.
- Strong Administration skills with the ability to manage day-to-day running of the school office.
Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.
