About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Education Welfare Officer to provide targeted education inclusion services within our Family Early Help service.
Purpose of the JobThe successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and maintaining a caseload of families requiring intervention in relation to attendance or inclusion.
Main Responsibilities:- Utilize a Team Around the Family (TAF) approach to support schools in reducing permanent exclusions.
- Foster effective partnerships among stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people.
- Support Family Early Help procedures concerning the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) and Team Around the School (TAS) procedures.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with families and young people, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
