About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Commercial Finance Business Partner to join our team in Burton. As a key member of our Commercial Finance team, you will support our Sales teams and provide financial expertise to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage budgets, understand key drivers, and confidently challenge stakeholders as needed.
- Build and nurture relationships with management teams, providing comprehensive support for the on/off-trade business and essential analysis.
- Collaborate closely with Regional Directors and their teams, focusing on value addition and prompt resolution of queries.
- Examine cost lines deeply, identifying opportunities and understanding associated risks.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the wider finance function, contributing ideas for continuous improvement and positive change.
About You
- Qualified accountant + with qualified experience
- Clear and considered communicator, skilled at simplifying complex financial concepts for non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven experience in managing commercial conversations and understanding sales functions.
- Adept at challenging assumptions and influencing at all levels, with a strong track record of explaining business case outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to add value to a business, whether through financial gains or process improvements.
- Experience with SAP or general BI tools is desirable.
