Site Operations Manager Opportunity

Omega Resource Group is currently recruiting for a skilled Site Operations Manager to join their client's team in the Automotive sector.

The estimated salary for this role is £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of site machinery and supervising a team of maintenance engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain site machinery
  • Lead and develop maintenance engineers
  • Collaborate with other department managers to achieve business objectives
  • Address employee concerns and provide constructive feedback
  • Evaluate and escalate critical machine issues to the operations manager
  • Comply with company policies and procedures
  • Maintain high-quality products and services
  • Implement TPM system to ensure proactive maintenance
  • Analyse and identify critical parts through FMEA
  • Develop and manage tool maintenance and improvement requests
  • Ensure 5S systems are in place for maintenance workshops and stores
  • Create reporting formats and record data effectively
  • Promote bi-annual performance development reviews with team members
  • Develop safe working practices and report performance metrics
  • Curate technical documentation for all equipment
  • Routine PDCA actions reviewed regularly

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering)
  • Extensive experience in maintenance or operations management
  • Proficient in maintenance management software
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Excellent organisational abilities
  • Familiarity with automotive production processes
  • History of collaborating with external suppliers.
