We are seeking an experienced Shift Manager to lead and manage all aspects of the daily shift operation, ensuring service meets our Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicator targets. As Shift Manager, you will be responsible for managing all colleagues on the shift, ensuring customer expectations are met. You will also manage costs and performance of the shift, including effective management of performance, conduct, absence, engagement, and training and development of team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the warehousing operation for the shift, ensuring efficient and accurate sortation of goods.
  • Ensure all activities are undertaken in line with company policies in a safe and proactive manner.
  • Manage costs and performance of the shift.
  • Effective management of performance, conduct, absence, engagement, and training and development of team members.
  • Provide a shift summary and handover record with any exceptions detailed and actioned.


The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the logistics or distribution industry. We offer a competitive salary, ranging from £45,000 to £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
