Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead our store design projects in the UK region. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from initial briefing and creative concept to store opening.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure design standards and concepts are maintained in all architectural details.
  • Understand and interpret DDA and building codes, and ensure compliance with relevant building applications.
  • Perform material and detail research with suppliers and consultants for architectural store design elements.
  • Ensure that the execution of assigned projects is in alignment with brand standards, strategy, schedules, and budgets.
  • Work closely with the design team to review and obtain approval of manufacture drawings.
  • Manage the whole store design process from design to execution and aftercare.
  • Identify and propose solutions to resolve issues that can impact project schedule, cost, or design integrity.
  • Manage all aspects of project budgets, including cost control, purchase order, and payment tracking procedures.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in a similar role within project management in store design. They will also have extensive knowledge of best practice within the construction industry, including accessibility and building codes.
