Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and empathetic Support Worker to join our team in Yate. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex needs, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall well-being.


Key Responsibilities:

  • To encourage and empower service users to engage in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
  • To maintain a safe and supportive environment, ensuring the safety and dignity of all service users.
  • To work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • To provide personal care and support to service users, as required.
  • To maintain accurate records and reports, as necessary.


Requirements:

  • Experience working with adults with complex needs, preferably in a residential setting.
  • NVQ or QCF level 3 in Adult Social Care, or willingness to work towards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driving license, as travel may be required.
