Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Vetro Recruitment. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting young people with complex needs, aged between, in a residential setting.

About the Role:

  • Support the young people to develop and become independent, promoting their well-being and safety.
  • Provide personal care and support as required, maintaining a safe and homely environment.
  • Encourage the young people to take responsibility for their own lives, depending on their age and abilities.
  • Deal with challenging behaviours in a safe and sympathetic manner.

Requirements:

  • Experience working as an adult support worker in a similar setting is desirable.
  • NVQ or QCF level 3 in Adult Social Care.
  • A passion for supporting people living their lives and promoting their independence.
  • You must be a driver, as you may be required to travel between sites during shifts.
  • You must be over the age of 18.
