Job Description



As a part-time Support Worker at Caring for Communities and People, you will provide vital support to young people living in our supported accommodation home in Yate. This is a part-time position working 12.25 hour shift 8pm-8.15am - 1 hour unpaid break in our Accommodation Based Services team.




  • You will provide practical and emotional support to individuals living in Yate, helping to promote a greater level of independence.
  • You will do this in a trauma-informed way (you will be thoroughly trained) and by building strong relationships with the individuals you support.
  • You will need to promote the rights and interests of the young people.
  • You will need to protect them from danger, harm, or abuse.
  • It can be challenging, however the rewards are amazing to see how your advice, knowledge and guidance has such a positive impact on these young people's lives.
  • To be successful in this role, you will need to be patient, kind, resilient, and professional, with a calm and caring approach.


About the Role
