About the Role

The Cumbria County Council is seeking a skilled Supervisor to join our team at Burnrigg Care Home in Carlisle. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality delivery of services to residents, creating an environment that fosters excellence, and promoting a culture of engagement and support among staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the performance of staff, encouraging high standards and monitoring performance.
  • Administer treatments and prescribed medication in accordance with Cumbria Care's policies and procedures.
  • Safeguard the security and welfare of residents, ensuring compliance with the Safeguarding Policy and the Social Care Council Code of Practice.
  • Promote best practice in accordance with Cumbria Care quality assurance procedures, ensuring compliance with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and other regulatory bodies.

Requirements

This role requires an enhanced DBS check with an Adults Barred List check. Please note that this role involves working in regulated activity with adults.
