Job Description

MacArthur Recruitment is seeking a skilled Mechanical Supervisor to join a successful engineering manufacturing company. As a key member of a small team of supervisors, you will be responsible for motivating and managing engineers, fabricators, welders, and other team members. This is a full-time Mechanical Supervisor role based in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team management – manage, train, appraisals, and mentoring
  • Ability to develop rapport and professional relationships with managers, staff, and external parties
  • Looking after engineers, fabricators, welders, and other staff
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements, Health & Safety Qualification would be a bonus
  • Quality – eg ISO 9001
  • Supervisory experience within manufacturing ideally
  • Enable people to take responsibility and have autonomy
  • Driving operational improvements and achieving business objectives
