Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Social Work Assistant to join our team in Sheffield. As a key member of our Children's Disabilities services team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to children and families with disabilities.

About the Role:

This position involves working collaboratively with Social Workers to assess the needs of children and young people with disabilities, as well as their families and carers. The successful candidate will contribute to specific pieces of work aimed at delivering targeted support to children and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Social Workers to identify and address the needs of children and young people with disabilities.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each child and family.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interactions and interventions.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children, young people, and families in a social care or similar setting.
  • A valid UK driving license to travel and visit clients as required.

Estimated Salary: £23,000 - £29,000 per annum, depending on experience.
