Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Relief Support Worker to join our team in Sheffield, supporting individuals with learning disabilities and physical disabilities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Offer bespoke support services, including personal care, practical assistance, and emotional support, to service users in supported living environments or their own homes.
  • Develop and implement plans for community engagement and social inclusion with service users.
  • Maintain open communication channels with service users, their families, and relevant professionals to ensure a cohesive service delivery.
  • Collaborate with the line manager in overseeing the daily functioning of the service.

To succeed in this role, you must have at least 12 months of experience working with people with learning disabilities, accompanied by relevant professional qualifications. A genuine passion for delivering high-quality support services is essential.

Remuneration and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from £28,000 to £33,000, contingent upon experience. Staff are paid on a weekly basis. Additional benefits include the opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment and contribute to the enhanced well-being of service users.

A driving license is desirable, but not required. Sheffield offers accessible public transportation options, ensuring convenient commuting for staff.
