About the Role

Calderdale & Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our Immunisation Team as a Healthcare Professional Immunisation Specialist. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in delivering the Department of Health (DH) School Aged Vaccination Programme across Calderdale.

Main Responsibilities

  • Plan and organise immunisation sessions in schools and community settings.
  • Deliver the school age immunisation programme in line with current medicines management policy and procedures.
  • Provide advice, guidance and support to schools to achieve the successful delivery of the school based immunisation programme.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with NMC standards.

Requirements

  • NMC Registered Nurse in a relevant field of practice.
  • Practice Assessor/Practice Supervisor qualification or willingness to complete.
