We are seeking an exceptional Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Cygnet Health Care. As a leading provider of specialist mental health services, we offer a unique opportunity for a dedicated and experienced professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a multidisciplinary team in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with complex mental health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, working closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Conduct regular ward rounds, clinical audits, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Full GMC registration and MBBS (or equivalent) qualification.
- Registered on the specialist register (CCT/CESR), Section 12 and AC Status.
- Proven experience in adult psychiatry and mental health diagnosis, with a strong understanding of the Mental Health Act and Code of Practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices in mental health care.
