About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with complex mental health needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, working closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct regular ward rounds, participate in clinical audits, and contribute to the development of clinical governance policies.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new services and programs, aligning with the organization's strategic objectives.
Requirements
  • Full GMC registration and MBBS (or equivalent) qualification.
  • Registered on the specialist register (CCT/CESR), Section 12 and AC Status.
  • Experience in adult psychiatry and mental health diagnosis, with a strong understanding of the Mental Health Act and Code of Practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
