Job Summary

Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Nurse Immunisation Programme Coordinator to join our Immunisation Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the school-aged vaccination programme in a safe and inclusive manner, working within the NMC code of conduct.

Main Responsibilities

  • Plan and organise immunisation sessions in schools and community settings.
  • Deliver the school age immunisation programme in line with current medicines management policy and procedures.
  • Provide advice and guidance to schools to achieve successful delivery of the programme.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with NMC standards.
  • Assist with data collection and statistical information.

Person Specification

  • NMC Registered Nurse in a relevant field of practice.
  • Practice Assessor/Practice Supervisor qualification or willingness to complete.
  • Additional post-registration qualification relevant to the field of practice.
  • Experience of working with patients from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
  • IT literacy and ability to use NHS systems.
