Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary of £38,500-£41,500 per annum, plus a 5% retention bonus rising to 10% quality and retention bonus. Additionally, they will have access to an OTE of £45,650 and enjoy benefits such as company pension, cycle to work scheme, enhanced maternity leave, free parking, and a health and wellbeing programme.

Job Description

As a Clinical Assessor, you will be responsible for providing unbiased and comprehensive assessments for the Government's disability allowance (PIP). You will ensure a personalised, inclusive, safe, and empathetic service for the service user. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your existing clinical knowledge and skills while taking on new challenges and responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage caseloads from end to end, including face-to-face and virtual assessments, telephone assessments, initial review calls, and paper-based reports
  • Deliver a range of services, including physical, sensory, mental, intellectual, and cognitive impairments assessments
  • Utilise time built into your working rota for breaks, CPD, audit amendments, requesting and reviewing further evidence, and team meetings
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must be a qualified Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Paramedic with at least one year of post-qualification experience. You must also hold valid registration on the NMC or HCPC without restrictions and possess excellent communication skills and strong IT literacy.
