Job Title: Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Portakabin. As a key member of our Site Accommodation business unit, you will be responsible for driving commercial growth and developing new business opportunities.

About the Role

This is a technical and solution-based sales role that requires a degree of practical skills and understanding. You will be working closely with our Bordon site team and interacting with Business Development Managers across the UK to continue to grow your knowledge and develop in your role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business development initiatives to grow our presence within the region
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Work closely with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies
  • Provide regular updates and reports on business development progress

Requirements

  • Proven track record in strategic account management and relationship building
  • Ability to negotiate, influence, persuade, and problem-solve
  • Experience working in or with the education sector
  • Technical, face-to-face selling and order-winning experience
  • Full UK driving license
