About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tub Wash Operator to join our team at Burton's Biscuits. As a key member of our manufacturing operation, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of clean and dirty tubs through the factory and to distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a smooth flow of clean and dirty tubs through the factory and to distribution.
  • Perform tub wash cleaning during shift and at the end of shift.
  • Change chemicals as required.
  • Clean lids and ensure they are properly secured.
  • Lift and pile tubs safely and efficiently.
  • Supply dirty tubs to the production lines.
  • Remove clean tubs from the production lines.
  • Remove waste, animal feed, and recyclable materials from the tubs.
  • Remove shrink wrap and tape from the pallets.
  • Load tubs onto the monorail.
  • Pile clean tubs onto pallets.
  • Transport full and empty pallets in and out of the factory.
  • Perform pre-start checks on the tub wash equipment.
  • Conduct temperature checks to ensure the tubs are at the correct temperature.
  • Perform a deep clean of the tub wash equipment once a week, including an allergen clean.

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Basic Food Safety and Behavioural Safety training.
  • Flexibility to work within the Tub Wash team.
