About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Tub Wash Operator to join our team at Burton's Biscuit. As a key member of our manufacturing operation, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of clean and dirty tubs through the factory and to distribution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a smooth flow of clean and dirty tubs through the factory and to distribution.
  • Perform tub wash cleaning during shift and at the end of shift.
  • Change chemicals as required.
  • Clean lids and other equipment.
  • Lift and pile tubs as needed.
  • Supply dirty tubs and remove clean tubs from the production lines.
  • Remove waste, animal feed, and recyclable materials from the factory floor.
  • Load tubs onto monorails and pile clean tubs onto pallets.
  • Transport full and empty pallets in and out of the factory.
  • Perform pre-start checks on the tub wash and temperature checks as required.
  • Deep clean the tub wash once a week, including allergen cleaning.
Requirements
  • Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Completion of NVQ 1, NVQ 2, Basic Food Safety, Help Stop Accidents, and Behavioural Safety training.
  • Self-motivated and able to train other employees.
  • Flexible working within the Tub Wash team.
