Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

Location: Rochester

Salary: £34,000

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Operations Technical Support Quality team in Rochester. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of products manufactured at our Electronic Systems site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform product audits to confirm compliance to documented requirements and workmanship standards
  • Provide feedback to Production Technicians and contribute to the development of corrective actions
  • Collaborate with Operations Supervision and Technical Support to drive quality improvements

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Experience in manufacturing, including assembly, inspection, or test
  • Effective communication skills and ability to provide feedback tactfully
  • Ability to plan and organize own work and prioritize tasks
  • IT skills, including proficiency in Word and Excel

Desirable:

  • Experience working with electro, mechanical, or optical assemblies
  • Certification to IPC-A-610 or willingness to undergo training
  • Understanding of root cause tools and techniques
  • Awareness of Aerospace Operator Self-Verification Programs AS9162
