Credit Controller

The role of the Credit Controller is a key position within the first line of defence for the organisation. The successful candidate will be acting as the safety net for the business from an operational and regulatory perspective.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining and reducing monthly aged debt for the group
  • Chasing clients/brokers for settlement of debt to ensure collected within credit terms
  • Managing your own diary and workload effectively
  • Sending statements in a timely manner
  • Liaising with customers by telephone and email to resolve debts on the ledger
  • Building strategic relationships across the organisation and communicating with various stakeholders at multiple seniority levels
  • Assisting with audit queries
  • Carrying out administrative duties such as email inbox and queries
Requirements:
  • Experience of working within a fast-paced credit control department (desirable but not essential)
  • Effective communication including written and verbal
  • MS Office suite including MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team collaboratively as well as on your own initiative
