Job Title: Credit Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Controller to join our team at PIB Group. As a Credit Controller, you will play a key role in maintaining and reducing monthly aged debt for the group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and reduce monthly aged debt for the group
  • Chase clients and brokers for settlement of debt to ensure collection within credit terms
  • Manage your own diary and workload effectively
  • Ensure statements are sent in a timely manner
  • Liaise with customers by telephone and email to resolve debts on the ledger
  • Build strategic relationships across the organisation and communicate effectively with various stakeholders
  • Escalate any issues and queries in a timely basis to team leader/manager
  • Assist with audit queries and carry out administrative duties
Requirements:
  • Experience of working within a fast-paced credit control department (desirable but not essential)
  • Effective communication skills, including written and verbal
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word
  • High level of resilience to adapt to constant business growth
  • Ability to deliver tasks accurately and on time while working under pressure
  • Positive can-do attitude with natural problem-solving abilities and high attention to detail
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team collaboratively and on your own initiative
