Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic dietitian to join our team as a Specialist Adults Diabetes Dietitian. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide expert nutritional advice to patients and carers, while supporting and educating the wider team to provide patient-centered care.

Main Duties

  • Work as an autonomous Specialist Dietitian and provide a comprehensive and effective dietetic service to the client group.
  • Work closely with Diabetes Multi-disciplinary teams and other Dietitians.
  • Provide assessment, management, and education to inpatients and outpatients requiring specialist dietetic and nutrition intervention.
  • Deliver education in group settings as well as one-to-one.
  • Provide training to other health professionals.
  • Audit and evaluate the outcome of the service provided.

Qualifications

  • BSc (Hons) or postgraduate equivalent in Dietetics.
  • HCPC registration.

Knowledge

  • Diabetes and Paediatric Experience.
  • 6 months post-graduate experience.
