Job Title: Registered Mental Health Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients.

Job Summary:

You will work closely with our experienced team to provide person-centered care, promoting independence, recovery, and dignity for our patients.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high standards of person-centered care, demonstrating empathy, patience, and understanding at all times.
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to make changes in patients' care, promoting independence, recovery, and dignity.
  • Provide support to other wards across the unit, responding to patients when they are distressed.
  • Engage patients in therapeutic activities, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Complete levels of observations with patients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Requirements:
  • Care Certificate completed.
  • NVQ 3 Health and Social Care.
  • Recent, relevant experience of working within mental health.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
