Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team at a newly commissioned mental health hospital in Derby. As a key member of our staff, you will provide high-quality care to patients aged 18 and above, while supporting your colleagues and promoting positive teamwork.

About the Role:

As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring that patients receive the best possible care, while also supporting your colleagues and promoting positive teamwork. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with mental health needs, including depression, personality disorder, learning disabilities, and addiction.

Requirements:

  • A relevant nursing qualification (RMN)
  • A valid NMC registration with no restrictions
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • A minimum of 1 year of mental health experience (low-high secure, forensic, acute, PICU, NHS or private)
  • Strong team-working skills
  • A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach
  • A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
  • A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice
