We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Support Worker to join our team at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. This role requires a strong foundation in healthcare, with a minimum of GCSE English and Maths grade C or 4, Functional skills for English/Maths, Care Certificate, and/or NVQ2 in health and social care or equivalent experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake personal care duties, such as toileting, bathing, and dressing/undressing, with dignity and respect for patients' autonomy.
  • Assist patients with eating and drinking, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Support patients to maintain function and normal activities of daily living, preventing deconditioning whilst in hospital.
  • Promote patient safety by undertaking vital signs, blood pressure, pulse, and other necessary checks, escalating concerns as per policy.
