We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Secretary to join our team at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. This role requires a strong background in secretarial work, with excellent typing, word processing, and audio typing skills. The ideal candidate will also have good knowledge of medical terminology and be able to interpret dictation from a variety of voices.

About the Job:
  • Responsibilities include providing administrative support to medical staff, using software packages to produce reports and documentation, and assisting with minute-taking and meeting administration.
  • The ideal candidate will have GCSE level qualifications in maths and English, RSA III secretarial qualification or equivalent knowledge and experience, ECDL or equivalent computer qualification, NVQ 3 / 4 in Business Administration or equivalent level of knowledge and experience, and continued professional development in relevant field.
