About the Sussex MSK Partnership East

We are a healthcare partnership dedicated to delivering high-quality care and treatment for patients with bone, joint and muscle conditions (musculoskeletal or MSK). Our integrated approach ensures patients receive prompt and appropriate care tailored to their individual needs.

Based in Eastbourne, we have an exciting opportunity for a permanent, full-time Patient Administrator to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a seamless patient journey through various pathways, from referral to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish effective communication with patients via phone and email at every stage of their care.
  • Deliver administrative services including patient booking, diagnostic results coordination, clinician support, query resolution, and service delivery that meets patient expectations.
  • Efficiently manage internal computer systems to actively manage patients through care pathways and provide clinicians with necessary clinical notes prior to clinics.

About You

  • Strong experience in an administrative role is essential.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills are required.
  • Prior experience with ERS and System One is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience in an administrative healthcare environment is advantageous.

Benefits and Salary

Our offer includes a competitive salary: £22,662.36 upon starting, increasing to £23,387.43 after 6 months, and further to £24,642.72 after 2 years of service.
